User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Wherever i go (webpage, firefox menus, buttons, ...) when i leave the mouse on the item after less than one second firefox act as if the mouse wasnt anymore over the item (for a link it doesnt underline it anymore, and remove it's adress from the status bar, for an icon it removes the hovering effect, for a sub menu, it doesnt open it,...). In other words, it's as if a mouse_out event was occuring a bit after the mouse_over happens... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Default theme, have a few extensions, but the bug was there before i install them, i downloaded and installed firefox a second time, but no differences.
I didnt look for this earlier.. but it happens only when firefox is on my second screen (i use dual screen), and only if secondary is on the left of the primary... when firefox is on primary screen (or secondary screen when this one is on the right of the primary) then it is ok... I think there is a problem when mouse X is negative (when on left side secondary screen, then coordinates may be negative)
Summary: Hovering with mouse works only for less than one second → dual head display - Hovering with mouse works only for less than one second
I am noticing the exact same problem on my machine.
same exact problem here. fresh install, seems to happen when mouse Y coordinate is negative.

This bug does not appear to affect FireFox for Mac OS X. I did however see it on a Windows XP laptop with ATI video drivers.
Is this still an issue with the 0.9 release?
Checked in Firefox 0.9, windows 2000, dual display, second display on the left. Bug has been fixed.
Most likely, this was fixed by bug 135079 (0.8 didnt have this fix) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 135079 ***
