Christian, if I understand you correctly, you mean that Mozilla does not use the Windows default HTML editor, but instead uses Composer in all circumstances. I know that there is a bug on the same issue for Mail, but can't find one for Composer - I would be surprised if one did not exist! In the meantime, I would suggest a more accurate bug title, perhaps: System default HTML editor is ignored (Windows), Composer is used instead
A couple of things. Firstly, I should have said before I suspect this should be a RFE (enhancment). Secondly, a couple of bugs in the same general area: Opening mailto in the system default mail app is bug 11459, and opening links in mail in the default browser is bug 108455
As far as I know this is fixed in firefox, right? For SeaMonkey, chances are this is either wontfix or will just rot.
As far as I can see (FireFox 20040419, Win2k) there is no "Edit" command at all.
This is a dupe of bug 35268. Updating summary so that its clearer and resolving as (another) dupe of 35268. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 35268 ***
