I have Thunderbird setup to use a Automatic Proxy Configuration URL. When I set
the option initially, it prompts me for my proxy login/password and then I can
view images from the internet in my email. However, next time I start
Thunderbird, I receive no prompt and have to change my window configuration in
order to be prompted for my proxy login/password and then I can see the email
images again. Otherwise, I see only a red dot showing that it could not load the
image. It seems to me that whatever prompt for the proxy login information is
not called by default and only when a new window configuration has been selected.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Setup Automatic Proxy Configuration URL.
2. Restart Thunderbird.
Actual Results:
Tried to view internet images in an email and saw only a red dot with an empty box.
Expected Results:
The program should prompt for the proxy login information as soon as it
encounters an email that needs access to the internet.
