User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040411 Firefox/0.8.0+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040411 Firefox/0.8.0+
in firefox (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a)
Gecko/20040416 Firefox/0.8.0+), but i tried latest nightly from trunk as well,
this page takes a _very_ long time to render. Also, firefox almost freezes while
its doing the rendering.
[i will attach an example of the page]. the problem is seen even when loading
locally.
that's not all. if you scroll down (i know its cyrillic, but do a "find in this
page" for '#142' (no quotes). Note the white lines - those should actually be
quoted messages. (ie, should look like quotations in, say, message #5).
IE takes much less time, and renders the page correctly.
the page itself is 492Kb or so.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.just open html page (to be attached)
Actually, if one were to take out the http:// references in the body (in
particular, grepping for rsdn and taking that out) seems to make the page load
much faster. Perheps rendering __speed__ is not an issue, as it does take only
50% of CPU, and does try to contact external sites for info. I don't know
whether the fact that the my machine is "frozen" while that's going on is a
problem or not - i think it should be.
the second reported problem with the page - rendering - is a problem for me
still, whether I take out the http links or not.
i'd love to see both of those fixed, but maybe you guys decide that it's better
to separate the two issues?

Confirm. Firefox takes up 100% cpu when displaying that page and the whole
machine becomes unresponsive. Not nice.

very slow between pages also shows a window saying alert the document contains
no data
Reproduced with page:
http://www.mistral.hu/arlista_kozos.html
OS: WinXP Professional - English version
Firefox version: 1.0.4
The page is generated very quickly at the server (03:00 AM) and can be
downloaded in 4 seconds with a separate downloader. The page does not contain
large images, only a large amount of text in a table.
I've downloaded the entire page and opened from hard disk, but Firefox rendered
this page very slowly. This may be due to incremental rendering of the large
table. Firefox should simply download the whole page and does not try to render
incrementally after a large table or image encountered.

tried to use the above page and it is slow.
Why i got to this bug is i was doing a search and while there were a few results
everything worked fine but when the page has 750 hit's it just doesn't work not
even after 4 hours of processing time.
this is the big query WARNING pc will become unresponsive ;) it is also a lot of
data more then 1.5 mb.
http://www.motorcycle-data.com/DBM/_html/liste_reifen_direkt.php4?rabatt=&zahlungsart=&querysav=&groesse=&profil=&hersteller=&gruppe=&motorradid=&besucher_id=nBm6ATDWwANW84NC&action=nologin&loginname=&passwd=&suchmode=&eurokurs=1.95583&nngebuehr=8.9&vkgebuehr=8&versand=8.9&zahlart=&bemerkung=&firma=&name=&land=&plz=&ort=&strasse=&email=&telefon=&suchmode=direkt&groesse=16&hersteller=%25&profil=&gruppe=%25
opera and ie work fine btw with this link
an query with 97 hits .... still slow compared ie and opera but bareable

a different search from the same place with just a few hits (19) same speed
opera ie and firefox

I hope someone can do something about it since firefox just doesn't load the big
one and it is the best "copy paste", to openoffice. Compared to the other 2 that is.
