Have "virtual folders" like in the provided gmail screenshots.
This could be based on mail labels that Thunderbird already supports.
I often put a TODO label on mails I have actions to take on.
But I keep these emails in their respective folders, based on different
projects, etc..

I would very much to have a virtual folder appear in the folder list, something
named "All TODO" or something like that. Viewing this folder would display all
the emails labelled TODO across my different folders (possibly across different
accounts, but I don't care much about this).

Multiple label per email would make this virtual folder feature more powerfull,
but even without that it would be good, and a differentiating factor for
Thunderbird, IMHO.
