Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421
When trying to say a web-page or an image, an error is shown that simple says
"Download error" in the title bar, and contains the domain name as the text.
Whatever page or image I tried to download is successfully saved however.
You can see a screen shot of the problem here:
http://kicken.mine.nu:8008/extras/bugs/moz_save_bug.html
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to any web page (google.com for example)
2. Press ctrl+s to save, or use file->save page as
3. Choose a name, and press ok
Actual Results:
An error dialog appears stating very useless information:
Download Error
www.google.com
The page is successfully saved however. Results in confusion because the user
thinks their file was not saved, and don't know why.
Expected Results:
No error shown unless there is a problem saving the page. And if so, more
usefull error messages.
