The task title in Chinese will displayed as "??????" after restart whole mozilla
suit. What fun is some titles started with "X" would displayed correctly. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a nex task with Chinese title
2. close all mozilla windows, including brower, mail client and calendar and the
quick start
3. run the mozilla and the calendar

Actual Results:  
the task tilte in chinese displayed as "????"

Sounds like it is missing the glyphs that it is calling, try downloading
new/more chinese fonts,  comment here if it helps, (And if not)

I don't think so.  I use win xp Simplified Chinese edition, which support
Chinese char, but I still have the problem.   Almost all the softwares I am
using now don't  
have this bug, but some "foreign softwares", I mean the software manufactoried
by some small company outside China, do.  Calender may have an inner problem of
displaying Chinese Chars.

What font is being used for your window titles and what text (preferabbly use
the unicode character numbers so it doesn't get mangled by bugzilla) are you
trying to show?

If problem happens only on certain titles, may be related to bug 26569 ?
That problem seems to depend on last character, so when creating new events, you
can add a space or something after the last character to work around problem.
