VERIFIED DUPLICATE of bug 22604

People

(Reporter: vidiot, Assigned: mikepinkerton)

Details

Pressing Alt-O on the keyboard does not bring up the dialog box for entering a new URL. Using File->Open Web Location is the only way it works.
This looks like a DUP of bug 22604, "[PP] alt-o doesn't bring up Open Web Location dialog", but depending on the build used by the reporter, this could be either a regression or a plain DUP. vidiot@vidiot.com, please provide the Build ID of the Mozilla browser you found this problem with. It will be located at the right-hand end of the status bar at the bottom of the window (it will look something like this: Build ID: 2000010108 and encodes the date and hour the version you were using was built). Or, if you were using a Milestone release, you can just say which milestone.

The version of Mozilla that is being used is M12, Linux RPM. Build 1999082316. I did a query on the bug to see if it had already been reported. I placed "Alt-O" in the keyword field and got nothing back. I suspect that I should have put the query text in the summary field instead. I shouldn't have assumed that "Alt-O" would have been a keyword. Sounds like this is a duplicate bug report and should be withdrawn/retired/whatever.
Done. Marking DUPLICATE of bug 22604; this has been fixed since M12, see 22604. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 22604 ***
