Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040512 Firefox/0.8.0+
In every other browser I've ever used, on Mac and Windows, the backspace key has
always been used to move back a page. In other browsers, I never even use the
mouse to move back a page. On the Mac though, hitting command and left makes
using Firefox a little less easier to use.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Press backspace when the active portion of the window is anything other than a
text box/field
Actual Results:
If I press backspace nothing happens
Expected Results:
I would like it to move back to the previous page I was viewing
I was encouraged to post this enhancement here by a Firefox developer in the
Mozillazine forum - trust I have done it properly
