User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040525 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040525 Firefox/0.8 A pop-up dialog that occurs while dragging an object in Firefox ends the dragging, but causes mouse clicks to no longer be registered. The object can be (at least) a bookmark or history note in a sidebar, or an image on a displayed page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Identify a known "connection refused" address (i.e., 127.0.0.1 if not on a http server) 2. Open the bookmarks sidebar (or history sidebar, or a page with an image) 3. Enter address in location bar and press enter (or click on "Go") 4. Before the "connection refused" dialog pops up, begin dragging a bookmark in the sidebar (or a history entry, or an image). Actual Results: When the dialog appears, clicking on "Ok" has no effect (and does not depress the button). The mouse does not appear to work anywhere else in the application. Enter or space dismisses the dialog properly. Expected Results: Clicking on "Ok" should dismiss the dialog.
I see this too, but not confirming because I'm not sure if this is a Firefox product bug or a Browser/Core bug. Nice catch, though.
similiar Seamonkey bug is Bug 210819
Same thing like in Bug 246801? Dupe?
