RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 243210

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040513 Firefox/0.8.0+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040513 Firefox/0.8.0+

When building Firefox from CVS, I get this weird behaviour recently: first
firefox starts, but displays an empty bookmarks toolbar folder. It does not
react to mouse clicks or even trying to close the window through the window manager.

When running it again, it starts and displays the bookmarks toolbar folder, but
when clicking on one of the bookmarks, nothing happens. When clicking on a
bookmark folder, the folder opens, but clicking on the bookmarks in the folder
yields no result again.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. make install to a new directory
2. run firefox
3. get the result named above

Actual Results:
as described above: first a hang, then a different hang.

Expected Results:
normal browsing

Could it be some kind of race condition? I am using gcc 3.4.0 to build firefox.
I'm pretty sure this is a dupe. Please reopen though if you can reproduce with a
current nightly build using a clean install and a clean profile.
