Nothing happens Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: Alarm should go off and email should be sent. Also, failure to send the email or failure to show the alarm should produce some visible evidence of the failure.
hmm any chance you are willing to create a *new* calendar and test there, and if it still does not work create an attachment with it so we can check. (Calendar files are extension .ics and located at:) %APPDATA%/mozilla/profiles/<profile>/*.slt/calendar/ Thank you.
I'm also seeing this behaviour on 1.7rc2 and rc3. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040611 This appears to have broken sometime after 1.6 release, because if I go back to that it works fine. In each case I am using the calendar shipped with the release. Bug #217865 reports the same symptoms, but for and older version of mozilla, so my have a different cause.
Actually - Bug #241490 is probably the cause. That bug is closed because the problem is fixed. Could we use this bug to ensure the fix makes it into Mozilla 1.7 final? This is an embarrasing problem for a calendar tool!
Mr. Locke can you verify that it is fixed by downloading the latest xpi from the mozilla calendar page. from c#3 if you want a calendar code patch ported to the 1.7 branch, please request so on that bug, and note reason(s); (unlikely for 1.7 now though, a bit late)...though calendar is not built by default on Suite (windows at least), and thus an xpi is how most users will get it. In which case our xpi's will be fine for them.
resolved as fixed because of comments and the probably out dated information in the bug.
