Details
To fix bug 240552 xpinstall needed to use the permission manager, but extensions
are built /after/ xpinstall, and worse are not always built. These policy things
need to go into a more central place rather than have each service create its
own version. Maybe mozilla/embedding/policy ?
Anyway, short term since we're trying to ship 1.7 I've moved
nsIPermissionManager.idl into necko next to nsIPasswordManager (with Darin's
reluctant blessing).
