User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040514
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7RC2) Gecko/20040514

If the Bookmark Manager window is maximized to fill the entire desktop when
closed, the next time the window is set to normal, the size it had the prior
time it was normal is forgotten. Instead, it is almost the full maximized size.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the Bookmark Manager window.
2. Set it to "normal" (button in upper-right corner showing two windows).
Resize the window to about a quarter of the desktop.
3. Set the window to "maximize" (button in upper-right corner showing one large
window).
4. Close the Bookmark Manager window.
5. Open the Bookmark Manager window again. It opens maximized.
6. Set it to "normal".

Actual Results:
The final "normal" window is almost the same size as the maximized window.

Expected Results:
The final "normal" window is should be the same size as it was the last time it
was "normal". Note that this Expected Results is what is actually obtained when
I do these same steps to a Mozilla browser window.

This may be related to bug #87988.

While this is a Minor bug (workaround involving resizing the "normal" window),
it's a ##@@***!! annoyance to have to indeed resize the window every time I make
it "normal".
Still a problem:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910

Test case in original Description is still valid.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041217

Note that the browser window does remember its prior "normal" size. It's the
Bookmark Manager that forgets its window size.

Someone please confirm this bug.
I'm using Mozilla 1.8a6 (Build : 2005011116) on a Win2k Pro (SP4) platform.

I open the bookmark manager and the default size does not show the whole
bookmark tree. I resize it.

Close the bookmark manager. Reopen it and it returns back to the small
size window. (Can't tell what the actual size is, but it certainly
cannot display the whole bookmark tree. Only the first 5 items of the
tree. It does display the Name:, Location: and Keyword: field ok.

So yes, I'd like to add my 'bug vote' or (if this is the right term)
confirmation to this bug.
