Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9
Since upgrading to Firefox 0.9, there is no way to get access to the X.509
certificate chain for an SSL/TLS connection as the Secutity information button
is just missing from the Page Info dialog. There also does not seem to be any
way to get this information through an alternative access path.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Access an HTTPS URL
2. Select <Context Menu> -> View Page Info
Actual Results:
The Security button is gone...

worksforme linux firefox 0.9. I see the Security tab in the Page Info dialog,
and a View button in it for viewing cert info on a https site.

While this is always reproducible for my primary Firefox installation, a new
install on a "clean" Windows XP system did show the security tab. I am currently
experimenting with a new profile to find out if some migrated settings from FF
0.8 are causing this...
Regarding the missing help: I can confirm this, my "Help" menu only shows
"Release notes" and "About".

Help is supposed to be fixed in bug 246769.

Not sure what went wrong during the original installation, but complete
re-install (while keeping the old profile) solved the problem for me...

Maybe a dupe of bug 246940. Are you missing Menu Help->Help Contents as well?

I have had the same problem (bug 245714) with the June 5th build.
(I too remember that some items in the Help menu were missing,
although help was allegedly already included by that time.)
Installing the next day's build fixed it.

I've got some additional details:
While re-installing at first seemed to solve the issue, it re-appeared after
restarting Firefox.
However, if I delete chrome/chrome.rdf afterwards, the problem seems to go away
permanently. Firefox creates a new chrome/chrome.rdf file during the next
startup as well as the chrome/overlayinfo/* directory structure, which it did
not initially have after the installation completed.
