Details

With the newly introduced search bar feature (http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=244325) there is a slight problem with exactly what is searched. Say you have an image file, or exe attached to a message. With the new search feature, you could type in a seemingly random stream of letters (e.g. ZAAYIoQAaJLkA ) yet it would find a result (for me) because that combination is found in the source of an attached file. This is widely reproducable; find an an exe attachment or image attachment; view the message source ( ctrl + u ); find the code for the attachment and then do a search for a snip of it. Result : message with the attachment. Although this is a somewhat extreme example, it does highlight a problem; when tb is searching "message body" it needs to ignore attachments in messages. TB UA String : version 0.7+ (20040629)
