User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9 When I try to send word attachment an error message is sent to me saying it has sent the e-mail but cannot save to sent folder. The responder will reply back saying there is nothing in the attachment OR when they open the word attachment it is all encoded. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I've seen this as a recipient of messages sent by Thunderbird 0.7.1. To me, the Word document is seen as text/plain attachment, are corrupted, and Mutt complains the following way: "multipart message has no boundary parameter!"
Summary: Can't send word attachments → Can't send word attachments
To give more details, this may be a duplicate of #249049: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=249049 What I see doesn't look too different: --------------080000010600020907050102 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit --------------080000010600020907050102 Content-Type: multipart/appledouble; name="foobar.doc" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Content-Disposition: inline; filename="foobar.doc"
Actually, I think that this is a dupe of: - 236239 - 232923 - 249049
Duping to what seems to be the most informative bug about the appledouble problem. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 236239 ***
