I can get to the website www.pogo.com and log in. I can get to the game
description segment of any game showing rooms and tables. But, once I click on
join a game, the window opens as if to load the game; a small amount of traffic
occurs while the java coffee cup loads. Then both the game window and the web
browser completely close and i get a java error code on my desktop. This never
happened before when I used I. E. -- but after installing firefox, it happens in
both browswers
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I connect to www.pogo.com
2. I log into the web site with user and pass
3. It returns me to the main page, logged in.
4. I select a game to play from the links.
5. It transfers me to the game server, and available rooms / tables to play.
6. I select a table, invoking the java based browser popup.
7. The game popup begins to download the object file.
8. The "java coffee cup" shows up on my toolbar.
9. Traffic halts for a second or so, and then begins again.
10. Traffic then stops completely.
11. The entire browser and the invoked game page completely close.
12. A Java error text file shows up on my desktop.
Actual Results:
The browser just closes completely. I have checked to see if I have all the
system requirement component plugins installed, and I do. There have been
absolutely NO OTHER changes on my PC other than the addition of the new browser.
I did not have the problem with I. E. -- But now BOTH browsers do the same thing.
Expected Results:
It should have taken me to a game table / room to interface with other players
and play the games. Instead it just automatically closed.
I don't have any theme other than the default one installed.
The error log just says "unexpected error"
There are over a quarter of a million people who play at this game site. I
consider it critical.
