User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 The Designed for Windows XP specification requires the major version and minor version to be specified in the registry entries. These are currently missing from the Thunderbird 0.7.1 uninstall entries. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. View the uninstall entry in the registry. Actual Results: There is no value for VersionMajor or VersionMinor. Expected Results: There should be a DWORD entry for both. This is Designed for Windows XP requirement 2.7. Additionally, the DWORD entries for NOMODIFY and NOREPAIR are read as invalid. Additionally, the publisher entry used is different from the one used by Firefox.
What do you mean the nomodify norepair are invalid? These need to be dword. If not then the button in add/remove programs does not get modified.
(In reply to comment #1) > What do you mean the nomodify norepair are invalid? These need to be dword. Windows regedit says that the values are "(invalid DWORD value)". [as viewed here on Win98]
