Whne I loaded Firefox about 3 GB of downloaded files changed from HTML to the
broken window with no way to chnage them back. These files represented8-10 man
months of search refine and download. Any attempt to aceess these fiels
referrs me to Firefox.exe. After the first night I no longer have firefox on
my computer. I have lost months of work some not repeatable installing your
product as you specified adn deinstalling as you specified.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Search anyone of thousands of files

Actual Results:
I get a broken winfdow and instructions to go to Firefox.exe
Expected Results:
Chnaged my files back to HTML AND warned me of the problem before the change
was made

You need to set IE back as the default browser. Run IE go to "Tools->Internet
Options", select the Programs tab and check "IE should check if it is the
default browser", then restart IE and press yes when it asks to be made default
again.
If that doesn't work you'll need to manually change the file type back, ask at
http://forums.mozillazine.org for more instructions.
As for this bug request it would certainly be nice if the uninstaller reset file
associations but I can't believe there isn't already a duplicate report filed
somewhere.
