(Reporter: mozillabug, Assigned: mscott)

Details

User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.1) Gecko/20040707
Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 0.7.2 (20040707)

Maybe this bug is a dup of #227394 ?
====================================

I'm trying to send some messages with a french business management
software - quotes, invoices, purchase orders ...

The software is "Gestion Commerciale 100" v 11.01 from SAGE.

I'm working with XP Pro but I got the same problem with W98 SE

When I try to send an email from "Gestion Commerciale" and Thunderbird is the
default mail software, the main window open but no mail sent

Thunderbird 0.7.2 is a fresh installation

When I try to send a file with "Send To" it's ok.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Sage Gestion Commerciale 100
2. Send a quote by e-mail
Actual Results:
The main window open but no mail sent

Expected Results:
Send the message

The same problem occurs with Mozilla 1.7.1 : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98;
en-US; rv:1.7.1) Gecko/20040707

Maybe this bug is a dup of #227394 ?

Works if the default mail software is :
- Eudora 5.1, paid mode
- outlook express

No error message
This seems a likely dupe.
Bug 108275 was fixed since 0.7 was released, and so the full Simple MAPI
interface should be available in current nightly builds. However, there are no
plans to implement all of MAPI.

If your app is working with any 0.8 builds, please mark this bug a dupe of
108275.
No response from reporter; duping.
Emilio Lumia, feel free to reopen this, but please provide a response to
comment 1 if you do.
