Details

mozilla doesn't drop the dialup connection on shutdown (like IE?) ali@ebrahim.org passes on a note from his friend: "i have been using Firefox on and off. one thing i cannot find is how do i set the browser to end my internet connection once i close firefox. it automatically starts the connection (i have not set that up in firefox either). you know through IE we can set the internet connection to end once all the IE windows are closed. i like this feature, as it helps to keep the internet usage bill down. oh yes another thing, i have set my internet connection to drop after 10 mins of inactivity. what i find is even if i'm only using firefox to browse, every 10 mins i get the auto-disconnect message. the behaviour is the same, irrespective of choosing either browser as the default. i use windows xp."
