Details

(Whiteboard: testrunner)

seen on Linux (Fedora core) branch build 2004-07-15-11-0.9

-Open the Bookmarks menu
-Slowly mouse from one Bookmarks folder to the other

Notice that when the mouse first passes over the seperator the pointed to folder
is momentarily selected then quickly unselected. As you continue to move the
mouse, the folder is then again selected and now stable.

This is not only an issue with the Bookmarks menu but with all menus (also see
bug 260524, probably a duplicate).
Apparently, it is *only* triggered when the first menu item has a submenu (e.g.
View > Toolbars); I cannot reproduce this bug when the first menu item is a
'regular' one.
Same problem here, Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird. Don't confirm that
the first menu has to have a submenu, for example I have the same problem in
Mozilla Thunderbird in the Message Menu.

In my opinion, the bug is annoying because the submenu doesn't open (not
described here) and should be fixed soon!
whoever owns this bug needs to mark it as a duplicate of bug 260524 .. which
seems to be fixed in the current nightlies.
