User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040716 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040716 I've noticed at some sites, that when I close a tab, the remaining tabs will not take the focus. It appears that this problem is only occuring at one website (that I've found so far) while tabs that are open for different sites on the same mozilla window at the same time will respond properly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to the given url 2.open new tab with "visit today..page 2" 3.go to newly opened "page 2" tab 4.open new tab with "visit today..page 3" 5. open up several tabs with successive page #'s (don't reload any of the pages twice) 6.close the last tab 7.attempt to "page down" with the current tab Actual Results: nothing happens. I can only regain focus by clicking in the window. Expected Results: expected the tab to keep focus and be able to navigate the page with page down. Notice how Mozilla keep focus with the darkened title bar, but the tab still doesn't respond. I've only seen this at the cagle website so far. I believe that this is a recent problem as I frequently visit this site and this is the first time I've seen this behavior. A bit of strange behavior: from "page 2", open up several tabs with "page 3". Now I can close a "page 3" tab and the next "page 3" tab will keep focus. The "page 3" tabs will behave properly until close all the "page 3" tabs and get to "page 2", when focus will not be regained automatically. This might be related to bug 238112, but it seemed sufficiently different to warrant a separate bug report. I don't see this behavior on firefox. Just a side question, if we do see the same behavior on firefox, should we say that here or file a separate bug report?

WFM FF1.5 Mr Moose - back to you.
Sorry, let this one get away and forgot to verify. I haven't seen this behavior in a long time, so as far as I know, it should be closed.
