Hello,
i'm having this problem on both my computers.
Both run Mandrake Linux 10 and both have firefox 0.9 (and on the laptop i
believe 0.9.1) installed and both have the same problem.
I do NOT have the PDF plugin installed (and i don't want it).
Ok, this is the problem: when i click on a PDF file the usual "Open with" or
"Save as" window appears... unfortunately the "OK" button is disabled no matter
if i choose an app to open the PDF with or try to save it on the disk.
The only workaround i found is to right-click on the link of the PDF and save it
on the disk, this is a very annoying problem because if i want to open it with,
say, KGhostView i must first save it on the disk with the right-click and only
later open it. This problem seems to happen with PDFs only.
Thank you,
Luca
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on the link of a PDF file
2. Choose "Save as" (or "Open with", it doesn't matter)
3. You will see that the "OK" button is always disabled
Actual Results:
The "OK" button to save it on the disk is disabled
Expected Results:
The "OK" button should be enabled
Is this a duplicate of bug #241119?
I've run into the same bug. Installing the (horrible) acroread plugin allowed me
to get the PDF, as the webpage used javascript and thus I could not right-click
and "save this link as..."

I have just installed the latest version of Firefox on my Imac (System X Version

Quicktime Page 1 of the document.

We get blank page when trying to download .pdf file on SUSE Linux 10 Final using
Firefox 1.0.7. If we use Konquerer on same system, we can download the file.
Please fix.
