browser crashes when tabbing through adressbook
regression: working BuildID 2004071609 Win98
crashing BuildID 20070717xx Linux (comment 0)
crashing Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040719
Multiple ways to produce the crash, all trigger DocWatson, JS3250.DLL, but don´t
trigger talkback
Steps to repeat:
open Mail, Composer, Adress
First name in Adressbook is selected
Press TAB 3 times, BCC is selected
crashing builds: pressing again it crashes.
working builds: pressing again does nothing
seems the cursor is invisible on the greyed out 'Remove', but this may be
another bug. Pressing once more 'New' is selected.
Other ways to reproduce same crash in JS3250.DLL:
Mail->Tools->Search Adresses, or Window-Adressbook or Ctrl+5:
First name is selected, pressing TAB once unselects, next TAB crashes.
Mail->Tools->Search Messages or Ctrl+S:
Search Button is selected, pressing TAB once crashes.
In case of Adressbook crashing TAB would go to the disabled 'Remove' button,
in case of Messages crashing TAB would go to the 'Clear' Button.

The fix in bug 252032 also fixes this bug, and the stack of the crash is

wfm Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040722
Please give info, if the simple testcase is crashing at your computer.
simple testcase: Window->Adress Book or Ctrl+5, and start tabbing
if you insist in your testcase, also not crashing on my computer, please post
full address and content of your message.
Did you do a clean install?
Do you use themes and/or extensions, or did you use them with this profile?
And don´t reopen bugs without giving new info, in this case the bug was tested
by two persons, if it still is on your computer, maybe it is a problem of your
computer or linux installation.
I´ve tested this bug showing multiple ways to produce this crash, all of them
are fixed by now.
Please retest all of these ways, and tell, which are crashing.
In the case of tabbing through addressbook, I told the place were it was
crashing reproducably, can you reproduce this?
Do you use plain-text or html mail?
Do you use western charset, iso 8859-1, or something other?
Did selected addresses contain special chars, like german umlauts or french accents?
