User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1
Everytime I launch Thunderbird it asks whether it should be the default mail
application. Each time I check the 'Don't ask again box' and click the yes
button - presumably to make Thunderbird my default mail application. Yet the
next time I launch Thunderbird it asks again.
(The Use Thunderbird as default mail application checkbox is checked in the
Tools/Options/General menu item.)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Expected Results:
I expect Thunderbird should be set as the default mail application and stop
asking again each time it it launched.
Thunderbird is not set as my default news application. That is, the Use
Thunderbird as default news application checkbox is not checked in the
Tools/Options/General menu item. Perhaps there is a link between the mail and
news configurations.
