This is annoying and corrupts replys Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. reply to a message 2. enter text directly under a quote without new line between quote and new text 3. send the message Actual Results: Between new text and the quotation a new line ist inserted Expected Results: Just leave the message as it was composed

Nicki Messerschmidt: Are you composing with the HTML editor? And seeing this problem on messages that are sent out as plain text? If so, this is a duplicate of bug 178899.
He may mean, that there are empty lines when you save the message as plain text to a file. That annoys me too. It may also have something with the fact, that when you start typing immediatelly under the quote, the text is blue. If you start one line under it, it is black.
