This is works for me with current Firefox trunk build.
Version: unspecified → 2.0 Branch
*** Bug 348378 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
This regressed on trunk.
Now, find doesn't work unless you focus the document by hand, first.
"Highlight all" didn't work at all, and still doesn't work at all.
Version: 1.8 Branch → Trunk
Still does not work in rv:1.9.2 Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6
Attached file test case
Firefox 15.0 is still affected. I encountered this bug at first at http://www.opengl.org/sdk/docs/man/xhtml/glCopyPixels.xml
The attached test-case exposes the bug:

1. Open test.xml
2. Open the Find toolbar (Ctrl + F)
3. Type "Test" (there will be some results)
4. Press Highlight all (Alt + A)

5. "Phrase not found" (expected two highlighted words)

There is a patch from KUROSAWA, Takeshi in bug 599804.
Fixed by bug 599804, which is basically the same bug.
