Details

Strings parsed from non-RDF feeds need to be chomped, otherwise we try to render \n's and the like if the text node has them.

I just realised that inputing \n in bookmark description field would also produce a weird symbol. It also occurs when showing media at-rules in stylesheet view under DOMi. Are these related to this bug too?

I also noticed that double spaces inside Livemark titles are not collapsed.

I think this is a dupe of the new Places bug on this subject, which might even be fixed. If not, it should get moved to Places with that group cced.

I guess since I filed the bug that the Places bug is a port of, I should have paid more attention to what all it fixes, which does indeed include this. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 302133 ***
