Adding the guardian RSS feed to firefox 1.0PR works, but in the bookmarks
submenus (where the list of articles is) in front of the title of every article
there are three black squares eg
"<square><square><square>Iraq: a descent to civil war?"
"<square><square><square>Stress nearly made Blair quit"
etc.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to www.guardian.co.uk
2. subsribe to the RSS feed
3. open the RSS live bookmark and looks at articles offered
Actual Results:
feed works but displayed but extra with black squares
Expected Results:
feed displayed without the black squares
"refresh live bookmark" doesn't help.

We need to strip whitespace around item titles before creating the live
bookmark items - the undisplayable characters are coming from newlines and
tabs. Are there other characters we don't want to be putting into a bookmark?

Which makes this a dup of bug 253814 I'd say.
