User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Build Identifier: Mozilla ahs been my mail client as well as my web browser for a long long time now. I have recently migrated to Firefox for web browsing and I am looking to migrate to Thunderbird as well. But still to this day Thunderbird Mail client behave exactly like Mozilla client and as such cannot import mail settings or inbox from the Mozilla Mail client. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download Thunderbird Mail 0.7 2. Install 3. Express consternation at the lack of Mozilla Mail client in list of mail clients to import settings from. Actual Results: I expressed further consternation Expected Results: It should have given me the option to import mail from Mozilla Mail client ( Communicator ?? ). Funnily enough Firefox gave me the option during install to import browser settings from almost every browser known to man. This "problem" is prevelant in all platform builds of Thunderbird I've tried. I am not submitting this as a "New feature" as it probably should. I am submitting this as a Blocker, This is because it's something that will cause people to immediately ditch Thunderbird and stick with Lotus Notes/Communicator. If Mozilla expect this client to be taken seriously then they should include all major email clients. ie/ Outlook and Express, Eudora ( if anybody still uses it ) and Lotus Notes ( Which is also not an option for importing ) as well as Communicator.

I see this is from 2004. I installed Thunderbird 2 days ago and it imported all of my mail, address book etc. from Netscape 7 fine, for my FIRST profile. Then I created my other three profiles and I cannot import any of my mail. I have to manually do my address books, which is a pain, but I still cannot get my old mail, which is going to force me to uninstall and just go back. I cannot find the Resolution anywhere. Please can you help me - I am 2 days into this and going crazy. Thanks! Andrea
