Details
In build 2004080208, Windows XP Pro, when I open the Preferences dialog, it
opens to Mail and Newsgroups, and there is a BIG red message printed across the
bottom:
<checkbox id="mailnewsEnableMapi" label=--^
I have never seen this before and have no idea what it means.

I see this too, even with today's newer 2004-08-03-09 stub installer build on
Windows XP.

Note that in the preferences page, the "Set mail program as default" checkbox is
missing, too.
Cc'ing the mail/UI guys.

> I do not [get] asked about using mozilla as the default for mail
I hadn't noticed this, but I believe this comment is correct -- I frequently
switch back and forth between Moz 1.7 and Moz 1.8, and whichever one has been
usurped as default usually asks if it should be reset as default. Currently,
the default is 1.7, and 1.8 is not asking. (Still using 0726-Win2K.)
