User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Need ability to disable keyboard shortcuts, especially those (Ctrl-W) with fatal results. Or to enable an "are you sure" dialog for this particular shortcut. While filling out a form I did something with keyboard (?) that caused the browser window to just disappear. I couldn't believe it when it happened, cause in all my years of browser use I've never had it happen before. A look in help shows that Ctrl-W will close the window, though I don't think I hit that, but might have. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1. Filling out form 2. 3. Actual Results: Window disappeared -- got closed? And I definitely didn't want it too. Expected Results: Don't want any keyboard keys/combos that will close window. Or I should get asked if that's what I really want.
This appears to be more of a feature or enhancement than anything else.
Changed severity to "enhancement".
