I clicked on a mail subject to display an email while the background processing
of new mail was going on and all the junk mail got marked as junk, but didn't
all get moved to the junk mail folder. I have all this marked-as-junk mail
sitting in the inbox. A few of the junk mails got moved to the junk folder, but
not the rest (most) of them.

Please re-test with thunderbird 0.9, this sounds like it could perhaps have been
fixed with bug 259603

Just happened again with TBird 0.9.

Actually I don't think any mail detected as junk is getting
moved into the Junk folder in 0.9. Will search for such
a bug report, and if it's not already there, add it.
