Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Firefox/0.9.3 Whe importing my favourites from IE6, it left out all of the ones with Asian language names - Japanese websites. When I go to do it manually, it says "Invalid File Name" in some cases, and with others appears to work but the bookmark does not appear in the 'bookmarks' section. Seems to depend on the asian characters involved. The Japanese language is correctly installed/configured, and set in Firefox also. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make a favourite of an Asian language site - e.g. asahi.com in IE6 2. Try importing this into Firefox, either in the wizard or manually 3. Actual Results: Described as above. Expected Results: It should have allowed me to import all my favourites, even the ones with Asian characters, and not errored with some asian characters. Please note, bookmarking of Asian pages WORKS if you manually go to the page in Firefox and then re-bookmark it. This is an importing issue.
I'm guessing it's the same issue. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 235495 ***
