WFM 1.8a3 WinXP
wfm, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040817 I´ve had this problem, yesterday, the second day of useing it. Solved it by deinstalling and reinstalling Mozilla into a new folder. JS console had shown some errors, when I tried to download, now it is ok. From your description and my own experience, I see tht the filepicker is working normally, but doenloadmanager doesn´t start. So I´m duping this bug to: Bug 256365 the download manager is not opening on the latest version 1.8.a3 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 256365 ***
