'Save link Target as' right click menu option doesn't work in Mozilla 1.8a3.
The save file dialog opens and works but no file is saved to the hard disk. It
works fine in 1.8a2.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Choose 'save link target as' for a link
2. Observe the link isn't saved

I´ve had this problem, yesterday, the second day of useing it. Solved it by
deinstalling and reinstalling Mozilla into a new folder.
JS console had shown some errors, when I tried to download, now it is ok.
From your description and my own experience, I see tht the filepicker is working
normally, but doenloadmanager doesn´t start.
So I´m duping this bug to:
Bug 256365 the download manager is not opening on the latest version 1.8.a3
