Bookmarking tabs in a folder usually requires a new name, not the one of the
current tab. The best solution would be to focus the Name field and clear it.
Selecting the current text would also make is sufficiently easy to replace the
it with a new name.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Press Ctrl+D in a windows with several tabs
2. Check "Bookmark all tabs in a folder"
Actual result:
The text of the current tab appears in the Name field and the focus remains on
the checkbox.
Expected result:
The Name field should get the focus and its text should automatically be cleared
(or at least selected).

Wouldn't it be easier to just type the name before checking the box to bookmark
all tabs? It would be wrong for the focus to jump back to the other control when
the checkbox is clicked, in my opinion.

good point.
There's also the idea that the user might want to just edit the string, but
unexpected focus changes are bad.

The title field is the default focused field in the add bookmark dialog, you
would probably change its contents at this point (Also, clicking on a widget
shouldn't focus anything but the widget you have clicked on).

What do you think is the likelihood that defaulting to the title of an arbitrary
tab is what the user would want? I mean, this is what Firefox does now, do you
consider this behavior to be the optimum?

Depends on what they're surfing on. CNN.com as an example has a prefix.
Usually the tabs people bookmark together are related.
In any case, that wasn't the reason this was WONTFIXed, so I'm not really going
to delve too deeply.
