When I try the above URL mozilla m13 stops responding. A look at top shows it's using 100% of the CPU. I can get out only killing mozilla-bin (kill -9). The lock is repeatable. The same location works in netscape 4.7

Bug also occurs in build 2000012812 on Windows 98 SE. It is caused by a <SOUND> element. See testcase.

Confirmed with build 2000012812-M14 on Windows NT with no sound card installed, in all respects, including 100% CPU usage. No idea if this still happens if a sound device is present and working. g.anzolin@libero.it, can you play the sound on the same page with any other browser on your Linux machine? Adding crash keyword, upping severity, changing component from "B-G" to "HTML Element".

I've tried also netscape 4.7 and a pre-release of opera. No one of them seem to be able to play sound in that page... I'm pretty sure it's not a card configuration problem, as other programs (xmms, mpg123, playmidi etc...) work correctly.
Made SOUND to follow the spec. Parent Model %In-line Parent% | %Block Parent% | <Head> Content Model This element does not accept any content
