Seen with Branch builds on Windows, Mac and Linux from 0831 -Open a message compose window and typ the following khjkjhk helo helo helo -Click the Spell icon -In spell checker click ignore for the garbage text. -For the first occurance of helo, click replace. (Hello will be exchanged) Tested results: Spell checker goes back and selects the garbage text. expected results: Spell checker moves on to the next occurance of a mispelled word. notes: Ignore All is not affected by this bug.

sounds like a problem that has has shipped in several releases. would be good to fix but it may not make 1.0. renominate if a patch appears.

duping this of the more recent bug I filed against MailNews. It's the Mozilla spellechecker, which Tbird uses. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 267355 ***
