User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 If you abort the loading of a page (in the demo because an image is loading very slowly) and then click on a link which should open a new window using Javascript, the popup blocker is still active and prevents the window from opening. This happens no matter if you click after ten seconds or ten minutes. If there is a "page loading completed" flag in the browser which is checked by the popup blocker, this flag should be set by the Abort button, too. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make sure popup blocking is enabled and bitbrook.de not being in your whitelist. 2. Open http://bitbrook.de/privat/st/popup.html . 3. Hit your browser's "Abort" button. 4. Slowly count to 23, click on the "Open popup" link. Works with 24, too. Actual Results: Nothing, except the "blocked popup" icon appearing. Expected Results: A new window should have opened. Verified with both Firefox 0.9.3 (see above) and Mozilla 1.6 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-AT; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 MultiZilla/1.6.4.0b) This bug is probably related to or the actual problem of bugs 101190, 222466 and 248835. Some pages unnoticedly load sort of forever.

can you check bug 101190 and dupe to it if it's indeed the same issue ?
Depends on: 101190
Verified with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 IMO this is a separate issue to bug 101190 - that bug is about popups being blocked "while page is loading", whereas this bug demonstrates that popups are blocked after the page load is cancelled, when they should not be.
I found a better dupe, see Bug 180846. Please resolve it if you agree.
This is a dupe of bug 180846 (obviously) and bug 101190 (not so obvious, but its all about aborting a page load there, too). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 101190 ***
