User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) Build Identifier: 0.7.3 20040803 This happens to me everyday - I leave Thunderbird open all day & night on my PC, everyday when I come home, I see I have received no new email. When I click on Get Mail, nothing happens, no usual status messages in the status bar. I check my pop3 log and notice Thunderbird has stopped appending data to the log during the middle of the day. I'm not the first to report this: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=121095&highlight= I keep messages stored on the pop3 server (they are not deleted once I've downloaded them). I also notice that the usenet part of Thunderbird continues to operate fine. Also I installed a fresh copy of XP on a new machine and installed only Thunderbird to see if the problem happened - and it did. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Leave Thunderbird open all day & night. 2. Wait. 3. Actual Results: Can't receive any new mail without restarting Thunderbird. Expected Results: Collected my new emails!
