User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040823 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040823 Firefox/0.9.3 When right clicking a URL link to save the file to disk, the pop up menu offers accelerator keys for variious actions. The offered "Save Lin(k) as" uses k-key for save action. Please change this to de facto "s", like "(S)ave link as" , which would be consistent with the other brosers and familiar to people that use/change browsers and operating systems (Win, Linux, Mac). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

WONTFIX because: * IE uses "a", not "s", for "Save Target As...". Changing to "s" wouldn't improve consistency with IE. * We should use "s" for "Save Image As..." to match IE (bug 258437), and we can't use the same accelerator for "Save Image As..." and "Save Link As...". * You can't rely on the item having the word "As". It might change to "Save Link To Desktop" if your default download folder is the desktop. This depends on the outcome of bug 257143 and bug 244961.
See also bug 273233 for changing it to "a".
Already fixed in the trunk.

It's still "k" for me. I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20041223 Firefox/1.0+.

Duh, my bad Jesse. Anyway, I think it should be "a", which "Save _A_s" options typically use. Shall we mark WONTFIX or dupe of the other one?
Wontfix in favor of bug 273233 for reasons given in comment 1 and comment 5.
