    I am running firefox-0.9.3-i686-linux-gtk2+xft-installer.tar.gz
under Red Hat 8 and XFce 4.0.6.  I also have several themes that
I have downloaded (to hard drive) and wish to install in Firefox.

    Under Windows 0.9.3, I go to "Tools, Themes", then drag the
file over into the "Theme" window.

    Under Linux 0.9.3, when I drag the file over to the "Theme"
window, nothing happens.  If I go to "file, open file" and
hunt down the theme, I get asked to open it with "file-roller".
If I choose "other" and give it Firefox, I get asked to open
a new Firefox profile.

    But, if I go to an actual web site with the theme on
it, it will install.

Hi Asa,

    I have no clue what the duplicate is.  Do you?  I have searched, but
no luck.  If you know what it is, I would appreciate it if you would tag 
this as a duplicate, so I can get on the proper Cc: for this bug.

Hm the other bug is for OS/2 this is for Linux. I just installed Firefox 1.0 RC2
and tried to drag and drop this theme:

It worked just fine in Windows XP with the same version but in Linux nothing
happens.
I am dragging from KDE 3.3.1 Konqueror.

I now also tried drag and drop of JAR file from GNOME 2.8.0 and it also doesn't
work at all.

Do you see anything in the JavaScript Console when the d'n'd operation fails?
