Similar to bug 258499 but this occurs when you set Firefox to allow all popups
from gmail.google.com, it still blocks the invite window.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add "gmail.google.com" to the Allow list in the popup blocker
2. Click "Invite a Friend" in Gmail
Actual Results:
Popup blocker reports it blocked a popup.
Expected Results:
Opened the invite window

I'm experiencing something similar in SunONE Calendar Express. If I click on a
calendar task, I get the "Firefox prevented this site from opening a popup...".
If I click on the popup bar, I see "Block popups for ..." instead of "Allow
popups..." because popups from this site are already allowed. The calendar task
is a JS script.

Asaf, I did read it. Hence why I posted "similar to" yet it is different.
That one was about it blocking the popup for being unrequested. This ones is
about it STILL blocking after being added to the "I don't care if it was
requested or not, let me see it anyway" list.
Please read bugs before making snooty comments.

Ah **** I'm sorry, I totally misunderstood what you were saying Asaf...

Had the same problem. Disabling Tabbrowser Extensions solved it. This was to be
expected as both gmail and Tabbrowser Extensions rely heavily on JavaScript.
Firefox version from 20040910.

Disabling TBE fixed this problem in Firefox 1.0PR here - problem did not exist
for me before upgrade from Firefox 0.9.3 though...

Over to firefox. Note that TBE is notoriously buggy in a lot of ways, though...

We do not support TBE, it has been consistently buggy for a long time. INVALID

Note: TBE 1.11.2004092801 apparently fixes this problem.
