I have what I think is a related probem, in 1.0PR I can't install the deepestsender extention from deepestsender.mozdev.org. I always get the installation blocked message no matter what I enter in the allowed sites dialog. (Windows XP - 1.0PR)

WFM with Firefox branch build 2004-09-17-09-0.9 note: It shouldn't be necessary to add update.mozilla.org to the Allowed Sites list. It is by default whitelisted in a config pref.
