I can see the following on the prompt: /usr/local/firefox/run-mozilla.sh: line 451: 9259 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"} Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start firefox and open a site on the first tab, for example google.com 2.Create a new tab and open badboybill.com on that tab 3.Click on Enter Site Actual Results: crash -> Quality feedback agent I reported a crash with the Quality feedback agent, ID: TB837243Q
See bug 255372 comment 9; my stack trace looks identical to this crash. I can't seem to replicate this crash on Windows, but I will try the badboybill.com site on my Linux machine when I get home. TB IDs are TB817272Y, TB831321Q, TB831599W. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040914 Firefox/0.10 Mandrake 9.2: Kernel 2.4.22 / XFree86 v4.3 / WindowMaker v0.80.2
I could not reproduce the crash w/ popup on badboybill.com on my Linux box.
I could reproduce it on my Mac (Mac OS X 10.2.8), but I got the stacktrace of bug 258943. It seems that Mac report bug 258943, and PC's (both windows and Linux), report bug 255372. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 255372 ***
