Up until about 1 week ago I was able to empty my bulk and trash folders in Yahoo
Mail by pressing a link labelled "Empty". Now when I press it I'm presented a
confirmation message. I confirm that I want to empty the folder but it doesn't
empty. I can empty the folder on IE.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Yahoo Mail.
2. Press the Empty link next to the bulk folder.
3. Confirm that you want to empty the folder.

Actual Results:
All the messages remain in the folder.

Expected Results:
All the messages should have been deleted.
Related to bug 260481?
Dan, I tested this in bug 260481 using Firefox 1.0PR and Mozilla 1.7.3 on winxp
and it seems to work fine for me. If you can still reproduce the problem please
reopen this bug, and use the javascript console (from Tools->Web Developer menu)
and copy the messages into this bug. You can right click each message, then
choose Copy then paste the message here using Control-V.

I can still reproduce it and nothing shows up on the javascript console. The
contents of the folder remain undeleted.

The empty link now works! Yahoo must have changed their javascript because I'm
still using the same version of mozilla. I'm closing out this bug report.

I'm reopening this bug as I think I found the reason. This morning the empty
link was working. It was working, I think, because I inadvertanlty allowed
pop-ups for all web sites. Today I started seeing pop-ups for many web sites,
something that I never experienced using mozilla before. Then I disabled
pop-ups from the popup manager and tried the empty link. Now I can't empty the
bulk or trash folders. Disallowing pop-ups has something to do with this issue.
I'd like to reopen this bug report.

I can use the Empty button without having Pop-Up Blocker disabled.

Dan, do you see this reported problem with a recent build such as Mozilla1.7.6 ?
If not, please resolve this as Worksforme, thanks.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
