I used to change the Local Folders directory used to store the e-mail,
however, I have noticed that in Thunderbird 0.8 this function is not
working
- I was able to manually open prefs.js and do the changes to the variables:
mail.server.server1.directory
mail.server.server1.directory-rel
When doing the chang this way, the new directory is used.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select menu Tools/Account Settings
2. Select Local Folders
3. Select Local Directory - Click on the Browse button, select a new
directory, then hit OK
Actual Results:
After browsing for a new directory, the name of the directory is not changed,
it remains at the default of C:\Documents and Settings\....\profiles\....
Expected Results:
It should change the Local Directory used to store the mail in "Local Folders"
to the new selected one.
