Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910

The local folder of a new IMAP account is sticky, even if you change it before
downloading the list of folders, the default is still used until you leave
Mozilla Mail

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a new IMAP account
2. change the 'Local Folder' setting in the account properties before trying to
connect
3. click the Inbox of the new account

Actual Results:
Mozilla Mail downloaded the list of folders in the default location
(<imapservername> under profile's ImapMail subdir).

Expected Results:
It should have created the directories for my IMAP folders under the location I
set in the account properties.

I closed the program, then restarted, and on first access to the account it
downloaded again the list of folders, this time to the right location (the one I
entered).
yes, that path is cached and we don't realize the pref has changed until you
restart.
